Hello fellas, hope you all are doing great! I know what you’ve been thinking: "Why did it take me so long to write a blog?" To say I’ve been busy would be a lie, so I guess it’s better to say that I’ve been uninspired in recent days. But let me make it clear, I was uninspired but not bored. Boredom is a good thing—yes, you heard me right. If you’re feeling bored all the time, it doesn’t mean you’re boring; what it simply means is that you’re fed up with the mundane things in your life. And in that way, we’re definitely on the same page.

So without any delay, let’s dive into why creativity is incidental to boredom. In our lives, we often feel bored, and that’s so common. Many things may bore us: studies, career, life itself sometimes. And trust me, boredom is not the problem—it’s the inability to take action that’s the true problem. Once you do achieve that, life gets so much more interesting.

Now, what does taking action mean? All it means is committing to some hobby. Most of us fail to do this, so in order to kill boredom, we engage in reels and social media, which is exactly what makes us uncreative. So, stop trying to kill boredom. Instead, embrace it, and eventually, you’ll reach a threshold. As you reach that point, please do involve yourself in an old hobby of yours, or find a new one, but for Christ’s sake, commit to it. Believe me, you’ll be so much happier.

Dig through your childhood stuff and find the things that used to interest you. Switch off your phone and travel to a new place. Start painting, do gardening, collect stamps, help your old neighbors with chores, find your old textbooks and read them, talk to an old friend, play a game, make new friends, get into a relationship, love, read, write, sing, dance—and for God’s sake, put the phone aside and breathe.

You can manage to do all of these things once you start to embrace boredom and commit to yourself. So fellas, let’s take the step towards living deliberately. I hope my blog finds you well. Sayonara...
