Hi guys, hope all are doing good. I know it's been ages since I wrote to you, and I hope you guys will forgive me. Anyways, I’m back and have a fresh blog waiting for you. I recently watched a film and couldn't stop thinking about it, so I remembered the quote: "When you are consumed by thoughts, write. When you are uninspired, read." So, I'm turning my thoughts into this blog. So why this lag? Let's jump into today's recommendation — Midnight in Paris by Woody Allen.

Do you have a favourite city? And strolling through that city's streets, have you ever fallen in love with that place? Have you ever felt like going to the past simply because that place has a rich history? Well, that's the whole synopsis of the movie Midnight in Paris. It is considered one of the most beautiful films of all time, and I couldn't agree more.

Recently, I wanted to watch a film but was so perplexed about choosing one, and lying at the back of my watchlist was this one. Initially, I was sceptical about watching it, but the movie poster was so freaking good. I mean, it was an amalgamation of a guy walking in the street and the sky is a Vincent Van Gogh painting well, that got my attention. And cut to, me watching the movie my heart was elated watching the landscapes of Paris.

The movie starts off with Gil, a writer who's in love with this town, visiting Paris with his fiancée to write his novel. As he is sauntering through Paris’s streets, he finds himself time-travelling to the 1920s every midnight. He meets various literary legends of the early 20th century, and his conversations with them help him write his novel. Interesting, isn’t it?

Well, this movie offers us a view of Paris a century back, and I’ve always had a wish to travel back in time to see how the world was back then. If you’ve ever had that feeling, then this movie is a visual treat for you guys. Albeit this movie is about the past, it still tells us how important it is to live in the present — because no one is happy in their own generation. And believe me when I say this: the past may seem like a paradise until you realize the present is the ultimate heaven.

Woody Allen is a legendary filmmaker, and this movie is one of his finest works. It has beautiful landscapes, terrific writing, a great cast with some astounding cameos, and the heavenly music is so appeasing. If you are a fan of art and literature, then this movie will surely leave a long-lasting impact.

Hope you guys will love the movie.
Au revoir, ladies and gentlemen!
