Okay, for those still struggling (if any), whenever an existential crisis arises on 'who is the greatest detective?', of course, there is no shame if it's extended as 'of all time?'. Well, now, the case is solved... Wait for the reveal... Drum roll... It is none other than our S... well, before the reveal, why don't we unravel a bit about this pertinent silhouette.
After being sent back to England from the Afghan war as a casualty, nothing sparks the fire in Mr. Watson's life, until one day. That's when he meets his roommate, a partner in solving crimes. Our mystery guy is known around as a renowned detective, who has the ability to literally almost solve the crime by looking through the clues. Ya, no freaking magic, every step is analysed through sheer logic and proper reasoning.
Not eternal delight, but, slowly, life was added back into Watson's days. As time flew by, Watson too became a known name around the detective field. His accounts became famous, which played as catalysts in shedding light on a thorough synopsis of the cases, which they solved, like some magic show.
And if you want to meet this duo, for a cup of tea, then, the whole world knows where to find them... 221B Baker Street, London. Well, don't really expect them to be there, which people wrote letters, addressed to it. Then, it was a fictional address, but, eventually, popularity made 221B Baker Street become associated with a real location. You may not meet Mr Watson and his roommate, but can for sure have a tour around the museum. It features a recreation of their house, the study and many other interesting antics related to our world-famous detective.
Well, my hand is craving to write about an anecdote from any one of their cases, but, I don't want to spoil you the joy of its experience if you haven't read it. And definitely, read the book, you know what, I'm fed up by telling people about reading, but, how can they leave the comfort of black mirror and focus their rotten brains on tangible books? So, you could watch its series or films, whichever suits you best, and for once, feel the brilliance, rather than just be elated about knowing the name of world's best detective of all time (NO CAPS), Mr. Sherlock Holmes.
